PUPPY KINDERGARTEN
A series of five classes, one-hour pre-obedience
classes for puppies between
8 and 15 weeks of age.
Each class includes supervised, appropriate play and socialization—
one of
the most important skills you can teach your puppy. Using a
variety of
positive training exercises, you will learn how to:
- Stop mouthy behavior: nipping, biting, chewing
- Ease the pain of teething
- Prevent possession aggression and easily be able to
take an
object from your puppy's mouth
- Safely introduce your puppy on leash to other people and dogs
- Eliminate leash pulling
- Make grooming, nail trimming, and medicating easy
- Build better attention for learning obedience and good manners
- Quickly calm your puppy when excited and overstimulated
- Teach your puppy to come quickly every time you call
- Prevent jumping on people
- Safely blend puppies and small children
- Practice a positive approach to achieving desired behavior
- Strengthen your bond with your puppy
